I don’t know about you, but when I’m looking for 2025 wedding trends, my inspiration is rarely done online, via Instagram or even Pinterest. I’m most inspired by what people are wearing, the colors of the year, interior design and always TRAVEL. I don’t know if there is anything that can get you more inspired and somehow on the elusive “Trend alert hot list” on any given year.
To me, getting inspired for events is almost like osmosis. The more I take in while traveling or dining, and the more I pay attention to the world outside my doorstep, the more I learn what is coming up in the world of wedding trends and I LOVE IT. It is no cliché to say that life really does lend itself to art, design and creation.
So, what are some excellent wedding trends headed our way as we head towards 2025?
2025 Wedding Trend #1: Authenticity
The most important 2025 wedding trend is authenticity. A trend should always be in line with what resonates with you and your partner. Do not jump on any trend or fad, if you are not fully connected to what it means to you, and what it represents in your life or within your value system. Finding your metaphorical voice as a new married couple and relaying that to your guests during your wedding is one of the most authentic and intimate ways to create an unforgettable wedding.
2025 Wedding Trend #2: Color Is Everything
Color is everything I find to be unique and something that lends itself to more opportunities of self-expression. Aside from Peach Fuzz, the pantone color of the year, which is a very reliable color that fits into any color palette, there are also rich and vibrant colors to consider integrating into your wedding tale.
One example I like to call Notting Hill Blue – A very DEEP blue that exudes luxe, style and begs to be paired with a chic white charger, a high quality silver flatware and a custom hemstitch napkin with the bride and grooms monogram or crest. If you really want to “ trend it up,” add a beautiful Notting Hill Blue Velvet Ribbon that can serve as a tie for the elegantly styled.

Pair it with beautiful white flowers with simple shades of blue flowers, ie. a beautiful mix of blue delphiniums, white peonies, white phalaenopsis, and David Austin garden Roses. If the flower Gods are in your favor, then touches of beautiful white anenomes with centers that have a sprinkle of blue.
Keep this color palette clean with clear cylinders with ivory taper candles paired with crystal candlestick holders and infuse the blue in again with a colorful water glass. The place card can tie it all together as nicely as the bow, if you choose a similar tone of blue and raised silver for the guest’s name.

2025 Wedding Trend #3: Patterns Tell A Story
One of my favorite things I anticipate as a 2025 wedding trend is when a design takes shape in the beginning and then lends itself throughout each of the wedding elements. When done correctly, it can be subtle and effective branding of the bride and groom’s wedding without overdoing it with excessive personalization.
Using patterns that are synonymous with the aesthetic for the weekend in everything from the itinerary to the welcome bags, the bar signs, table numbers and place cards and even the dance floor and stage façade. This doesn’t mean that everything has to match- rather using bits and pieces from the design to tie it all in cohesively that will result in a breathtakingly beautiful event. 2025 Wedding Trend #4: Curated Menus Say It All
The Wedding Day Menu is one of the least talked about things despite its pivotal role in the wedding experience. Adding your personality or authenticity to your menu is a definite 2025 wedding trend for me. Collaborating on the menu with your planner with specialty food, excellent variety and a fitting ambiance is a must.
The key is to menu curation that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also tells a story, is the integration of the couple’s love story, their adventures together, and their shared passions into the menu details. Infuse every aspect of the dining experience with personal touches and meaningful details. The menu becomes an integral part of the wedding celebration, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Appetizers
When it comes to setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience, appetizers play a crucial role. They’re the opening act, setting the tone for the meal to come. From gourmet cheeses and charcuterie, to freshly shucked oysters and artisanal bruschetta. Appetizer stations add an element of interactive fun and sophistication to the cocktail hour.
Drinks
Let’s not forget about the drinks. Specialty cocktails are the perfect compliment to a curated menu, offering guests a taste of something unique and memorable. Whether it’s a signature cocktail inspired by the couple’s favorite flavors or a creative twist on a classic libation. Specialty drinks add an extra layer of personalization and flair to the celebration.
Dinner
Moving onto dinner, our clients are loving adding interactive live food stations into the mix. Add fun extras such as tacos and tequila, grill or sushi stations, and various types of small plates.
Tip! Stations must be managed by staff. This ensures that guests are guided so the stations move quickly. Even with two-sided stations if guests are chatting while in line it can slow the pace of the evening. We want to make sure that dinner stays moving so guests can have plenty of time for dancing.
Guests are still loving dessert stations, churro carts, and petite fours served plated to each guest. Couples are having fun with mini shots of either Espresso Martinis or Mexican favorite Carajillo (Liquor 43 and espresso). These fun little details will definitely add a “kick on the dance floor.”
2025 Forever Wedding Trend #5: The Wedding Cake
While wedding trends may come and go, one thing remains constant: the allure of the wedding cake. From towering confections adorned with intricate sugar flowers to modern masterpieces featuring bold flavors and innovative designs, wedding cakes are here to stay. And let’s face it – who can resist the temptation of a late-night slice of cake? It’s the perfect sweet treat to keep the celebration going into the wee hours of the morning.
